Eighty years ago, on the publication of The House at Pooh Corner, Christopher Robin said good-bye to Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. In this book they are reunited in new adventures. The writing of this book has been approved by the Trustees of the Pooh Properties. Written in a style that captures the writing of A. A. Milne- Return to the Hundred Acre Wood is a worthy sequel to The House at Pooh Corner and Winnie-the-Pooh.
David Benedictus produced the audio adaptations of Winnie-the-Pooh, starring Dame Judi Dench. He lives in London, England.
Mark Burgess has previously illustrated Winnie-the-Pooh and other classic children’s characters, including Paddington Bear. He lives in London, England. Click on link to read more or to order.

Any two year old will love this well written poetry book, and will want you to read over and over again. And you won’t mind because it is so much fun to read classic poems from A. A. Milne, accompanied by the illustrations of Ernest H Shepard. People who have bought this book have used adjectives like colorful and delightful to describe it. It is a great companion for Bedtime with Winnie, another of our favorite. It should be noted that the poems that appear in this book are excerpts from the poems written by A. A. Milne, to make them more understandable to a younger child, later when your child is older and can handle longer poems, it will be a treat to remember so many of them for having heard them from a favorite adult during the tender years. In this ABC book each letter of the alphabet is shown both in upper cases and lower cases. Suitable for children from 3 to 5 it present one word per page, starting of course with Aa apple, and an illustration of Christopher Robin walking along and eating an apple. The book does offer any complicated text that would just confuse children. The illustration (all from the classic Pooh) are beautiful and the colors subdued, so it is conducive to children settling down to learn new letters, but not for everyone as many people will prefer a more vibrant newer look of our favorite bear.Click on link to read more or to order.
Winnie-The-Pooh’s ABC Book

Sweet stories for all Pooh lovers, and specially for children who can hear them over and over. This book is better for children who can sit still, or lie in bed while mom or dad read, as there is only one image per page, with a fair amount of text. The book offers eight individual stories, but they tie in together so that the entire book is still one story. In typical Disney fashion, punch lines are more for the entertainment of adults reading it than for the children listening to it, which makes it a great read for adults as well. In this book Winnie finds out that just because your tummy is full, and you have a comfortable bed, does not mean you will sleep well. Tiger is the one to tell him that one needs a bedtime story to sleep well, and Winnie sets out into theHundred-Acre Wood to find one. Click on link to read more or to order.
Winnie the Pooh’s Bedtime Stories

Another board book where small children can discover opposites with Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Life has ups and downs, and Pooh’s life is no exception, but even Eeyore the pessimist in the group can experience happy moments.
As all original Pooh books illustrations are subdued and not to be confused with Disney’s interpretations that are in vibrant colors. Children still react well and apprciate Shepard’s illustration style.

This is the 80th edition of our favorite character. For this edition the publisher has created a dust jacket with a die-cut window which reveals the full color illustration underneath. It is an impressive package but it could be a little delicate for very young children.
The stories are individual stories and can be used at bedtime since the whole book does not have to be read at once. This is the book that started the long tradition of children books by A. A. Milne, that have delighted children and young at heart. Winnie the Pooh
